Teacher and technology coordinator
Marybeth Baldwin is a teacher, technology coordinator, researcher, curriculum developer, and trainer. As an English teacher at University Laboratory School, a K-12 charter school on Oahu, she demonstrates ULS-developed curriculum to both current and pre-service educators from Hawaii and around the world; as a tech coordinator, she works with teachers, students, administration, and technology staff to help the school realize its technology goals. She also works as an ACE21 trainer to support one-to-one schools in the Hawaii Department of Education. In this work, she’s developed curriculum to introduce teachers to best practices for integrating technology to support student learning through increasing opportunities for communication, collaboration, and creativity. She serves as a moderator for Hawaii’s Google Educator Group on Google+. Marybeth Baldwin has a Ph. D. in Educational Psychology and a master’s degree in teaching, and is a Google Education Trainer. In her spare time she can be found hanging out with her energetic toddler at one of the many parks around Oahu.
