Kaeo Duate is the director for the Kamehameha Schools West Hawai'i Region. He comes from Holualoa and has ancestral ties to the Kahalu'u and Keauhou ahupua'a where the main offices are for the region. He continues to work towards managing the natural, historical, educational and community resources of the western region.
