Am Self Employed providing Audio Visual Design, Integration and Installation services to government and commercial facilities such as Department of Education, Department of Defense, Universities, Resorts and Restaurants. Would like to utilize sketchup to design AV systems. My Goals are to utilize sketchup for the following.
-Create interior and exterior spaces.
-Create AV products/components of the manufactures we use such as projectors, displays, av switchers/matrix, audio mixers, amplifiers, control processors, keypads, wire and cable.
-Create detailed connectors for AV products such as HDMI, VGA, 3.5MM, RS232 so products may interconnect simulating AV system in real world.
-Create wire/cables with connectors.
-Create a product/service database which can be used to design and build av system sketchup. Need to record product Manufacture, Model, Description, Qty.
-Create AV Design Floor Plan, Elevations, Rack Layouts, Wiring Schematics, Control Layout and Labeling.
-Create quotes and scope of work documents from the design in layout.
