Come and learn about how technology is being used in the Mālama Honua Voyage to increase student engagement and creativity. This presenter will share firsthand experiences from a recent leg of the Voyage, of how he used technology to connect and engage learners.

Project Manager, Kamehameha Schools
Mark K. Ellis is a crew member with the Polynesian Voyaging Society, and recently sailed from Samoa to Aotearoa via Tonga. He has an undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Design. Mark is currently a Project Manager in the Hoʻokahua Cultural Vibrancy Division at Kamehameha Schools.
