Do you want to take your students to the streets of Israel or attempt to measure the volume of water in the Bay of Bengal? Maybe you want to visit the surface of Mars or observe the wall construction at Pu`uhonua o Hōnaunau? This session will introduce you to the power of Google Earth’s tours and Tourbuilder as potential tools in your curricula. You will learn to create your own narrated Google Earth tour that guides your students through your exploration. Learn to add pictures, video links, placemarks, as well as save and load your tour files. We will compare Google Earth tours to the web based Google Tourbuilder. No experience with Google Earth necessary.

Session Prerequisites:

Laptops of anykind would be highly recomended. In order to be prepared you can download and install the free desktop version of Google Earth at
www.google.com/earth/explore/products/desktop.html
